Project
Kutsumusjuttu is a documentary about the Purkutaide collective and a large-scale exhibition project where an abandoned department store is transformed into a space for art and community.
Approach
Sonic Soul Studio handled both the film score and complete audio post-production. The sonic direction was built in close dialogue with the picture edit: music was composed directly to the cut and refined throughout the project to match each scene’s mood, rhythm, and narrative flow.
Outcome
The final soundtrack combines score, location sound, and foley into one immersive soundscape that supports the documentary’s core theme: abandoned spaces becoming living, experiential environments. The music was also released separately on streaming platforms.
